Justin Theel Honored as TIME Quality Award Nominee
Justin Theel, dealer at Cedric Theel Toyota Scion in Bismarck, has been recognized as a nominee for the 2013 TIME Dealer of the Year award. Justin is one of a select group of 57 dealer nominees from over 17,000 dealers nationwide who were honored at the 96th annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention & Exposition in Orlando, Florida, on February 9, 2013. Justin feels his nomination for TIME Dealer of the Year extends to all employees at Cedric Theel Toyota Scion.
“I give credit for our success to all of our employees,” he says. “Everyone in sales, service, body shop, parts, office and reconditioning take a lot of pride in their workmanship.”
ADAND Represented Full-time During ND State Legislative Session
North Dakota's 63rd Legislative Assembly is underway, and once again ADAND dealer members are being represented full time in Bismarck. Please visit our Legislative Updates section to learn about bills that could have a direct impact on ND auto dealers, and find out how you can help.
Legislative reports will be forwarded weekly via email to all ADAND members, and also posted online at www.adand.com. "Call to Action" reports asking for your immediate attention to a specific issue will also be forwarded as necessary. Please watch for these important documents and stay in touch with your legislators.

Melinda Martin Named Career Development Manager
Melinda Martin has joined the staff of the Automobile Dealers Association of North Dakota and the North Dakota Implement Dealers Association as a Career Development Manager. Melinda will assist dealer members of both associations in the fulfillment of staffing needs, with a particular focus on automotive and diesel technician recruitment. Joel Sirek Elected ADAND Chairman
Joel Sirek, Smith Motors, Wahpeton, was elected Chairman of the Automobile Dealers Association of North Dakota during our organization’s 2012 Conference held November 11-13 in Bismarck. He has been a member of the ADAND Board of Directors since 2005 and served as Chairman-Elect during the past year.
Rod Wilhelm, Don Wilhelm Inc., Jamestown, became Chairman-Elect. Kathleen Gaddie, Ryan Family Dealerships, Minot, was newly elected to the ADAND Board of Directors.
